Mahsa Amini’s death is a horrible tragedy, and a clear violation of basic human rights. It has set off a series of large-scale protests across Iran, taking place in as many as 80 cities and leaving as many as 76 protestors dead, according to some sources.

As your Member of Parliament, I wanted to take this moment to make you all aware of some potential upcoming changes with regards to Milton’s federal electoral boundaries.

Like so many residents across Milton, Mississauga, and Toronto, I was horrified and devastated to learn of the tragic loss of life that took place when a gunman went on a shooting spree that claimed several lives and left others seriously injured.

Being such a young and vibrant community means it’s crucial for parents to be able to build both a family and a career, while also ensuring their children receive affordable and reliable early learning and child care services. That’s why I was so proud when, along with the provincial government, we announced in March that an agreement had been reached to support an average of $10-a-day licensed child care in the province, significantly reducing the price of child care for families.
